Call for Artists Fall 2016 Exhibit at CVL

Art in Virtual Worlds Exhibit

at CVL

 

 

The Community Virtual Library in Second Life presents an exhibit of art work in virtual worlds during the fall of 2016. Work of Second Life artists, as well as artists in other virtual worlds, such as Kitely, Inworldz, and Opensim will be on display.

 

Virtual World Artists

Contact Valibrarian Gregg in Second Life for a space at our exhibit area.  Photos, notecards, signs, landmarks, links, or small demos or your artwork can be shared at the exhibit.  All displays should be set up by Friday Sept 9th.

 

Grand Opening of Exhibit

Monday Sept. 12th 5-7pm SLT

 

Overview and Schedule

Each exhibit participant will be given a time slot to share about virtual world art at the Grand Opening on Monday September 12th at Noon and on Saturday October 8th at 9am (SLT).  These presentations are optional and can be in voice or text,  The exhibit will run from Sept 12- Nov 15, 2016.

Wearable Art Celebration Party

Wednesday October 12th 6pm SLT

 

Wear something artistic and join us for a celebration of virtual world art.  Network with other artists, educators, librarians, and friends to connect and share art with virtual world communities.
