Two journal publication opportunities associated with the XR & Immersive Learning Environments Special Track @ IEEE TALE 2018

Lee, Mark
Dear colleagues,

This is a reminder that the extended paper submission deadline for the Special Track on XR (VR, AR, MR) and Immersive Learning Environments (http://tale2018.org/xr) at IEEE TALE 2018, which will take place this December in Wollongong, Australia (close to Sydney), is fast approaching. This Special Track is being organised in conjunction with the Immersive Learning Research Network (iLRN at http://immersivelrn.org/).

We also wanted to take this opportunity to make you aware of two journal special issue publication opportunities associated with the Special Track:

  1. Special Issue of the journal Virtual Reality (published by Springer; 2017 SCI Impact Factor 1.375) on "Innovations in XR and Immersive Technologies for Learning"
  2. Special Issue of the journal Interactive Learning Environments (published by Taylor & Francis, 2017 SSCI Impact Factor 1.604) on "XR and Immersive Learning Environments in STEM Education"

The Call for Papers for the Virtual Reality special issue can be found at https://bit.ly/2vdyKEL , and the Call for the Interactive Learning Environments issue will be available soon (for now, please email [hidden email] if you are interested in that issue). The timelines for both issues are as follows:

  • Notification of review outcomes for conference papers: 19 September 2018
  • Final conference papers due for TALE 2018 proceedings: 1 October 2018
